A team matched to the role
Different home-care needs require different skills. JNS distinguishes clinical nursing roles from non-clinical caregiver and attendant roles. The role, qualifications and duties should be confirmed before assignment.
Nursing roles
Clinical nursing tasks are allocated only to appropriately qualified and authorised professionals, subject to relevant registration and applicable requirements. The exact task scope is reviewed before acceptance.
Caregiver and attender roles
Caregivers and patient-care attenders assist with agreed non-clinical daily activities within their training and role boundaries. They do not diagnose, prescribe or perform nursing procedures.
Meet the assigned person
A name, role, relevant qualification where applicable, schedule and reporting contact should be shared with the family as part of the confirmed arrangement. Personal staff photographs and profiles will be published only with the individual’s consent.
